Different Forms of Swimming Styles:

Swimming is a wonderful sport with different styles. Each style has its unique movement and rhythm. The four important  strokes are freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. The learning swim technique helps you move through water with better ease and speed. 

Breaststroke:

The breaststroke swimming is one of the most popular strokes. It is the most comfortable style. You don't have to lift the arms and you will have to make short and synchronous half circular movements to move your body underwater.

Butterfly:

How to Improve Your Swimming Breathing:

There is no instant solution for improving the swimming breathing technique. Improving your breath control for swimming takes time and commitment. The exercises and the strategies will help you to improve your breathing.

Swim with Proper Body Position:

The proper body position will allow you to maximize your breathing techniques and also speed. If you are taking your breath and continuously pulling your arm then you have nothing you use to support your body structure. 

Bilateral Breathing:

If you are freestyle swimming  it is essential to practice bilateral breathing. These strokes are used by alternating the side on which you take a breath. Bilateral swimming creates symmetrical and balanced strokes and it is easier to swim in a straight line. 

Exhale Forcefully:

Many athletes complain about feeling winded during swimming. It is due to a shortage of oxygen supply. When the body uses the oxygen as fuel it produces CO2 as a byproduct. If you inhale big enough to fill your lungs  but don't exhale fully to reduce it. You will feel distressed during the swimming. 

The breathing in freestyle swimming truly changes everything. When you first start it will be uncomfortable. But with practice it can be natural. Keep your face up in the water and on;y turn your head to breath. Exhale steadily underwater so you are ready to inhale quickly when you turn your head.
