Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of OmniBuzz (theomnibuzz.com). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Read carefully — this document contains important information about your rights and obligations.

Acceptance and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use OmniBuzz. By registering, you confirm you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Accounts held in violation of this policy will be terminated.

Your account

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information and keeping it up to date.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to refuse service, close accounts, or remove content at our discretion — particularly in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit. OmniBuzz does not claim copyright over your articles, comments, or profile information. However, by posting content on OmniBuzz, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Display, distribute, and promote your content on theomnibuzz.com and associated channels (RSS feeds, newsletters, social media).
• Edit for grammar, formatting, and SEO — never for meaning, without your approval.
• Include excerpts in "best of" roundups and marketing materials with attribution.

This license lasts for as long as your content is published on OmniBuzz, and survives account deletion for already-published work unless you specifically request its removal.

Acceptable use

When you use OmniBuzz, you agree to:

• Submit only original work you have the right to publish.
• Give proper credit for quotes, statistics, and images you reference.
• Treat other writers, readers, and moderators with respect.
• Report bugs, abuse, or copyright concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Post spam, duplicate content, or AI-generated slop.
• Submit content that infringes copyright, trademark, or any third-party rights.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone — including OmniBuzz staff.
• Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to damage the platform.
• Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer the service except through our public API.
• Use OmniBuzz to distribute illegal content or conduct illegal activities.
• Circumvent rate limits, auth systems, or spam detection.
• Create multiple accounts to inflate metrics, manipulate rankings, or evade bans.

Violations may result in immediate content removal, account suspension, and — in serious cases — reporting to law enforcement.

Sponsored content

OmniBuzz accepts sponsored posts and link insertions under strict disclosure rules. All sponsored content must be clearly labelled. Writers receiving compensation for advocacy posts must disclose the relationship. Undisclosed paid promotion is grounds for account termination.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid subscriptions (Pro, Expert, and future tiers) are billed through our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your settings — your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. No refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account with or without notice if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination:

• Your access to paid features ends immediately.
• Your profile and draft articles are removed within 7 days.
• Published articles become anonymous unless you specifically request removal.
• Sections of these terms that by nature should survive termination (IP, liability, governing law) remain in effect.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

OmniBuzz is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Content on the platform represents the views of the author, not OmniBuzz.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmniBuzz and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim — or $100, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delhi, India — except where local consumer protection laws grant you the right to proceed in your home jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally to reflect new features, legal requirements, or operational changes. Material changes will be announced on the platform and by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of OmniBuzz after that constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with the changes, your option is to stop using the service and delete your account.
