Students need to know what they will pay, who they will pay, and when the payment becomes due.
That difference matters. ACCA is not sold as one fixed-price package. Registration, annual subscriptions, exams, exemptions, tuition, and payment charges arrive at different stages—and several organizations set those prices.
This guide turns the official ACCA fees for India into a personal budget you can update as your study plan changes.
What should you budget for ACCA in India?
For a student with no exemptions, the published charges in our three-year example total £2,129, or approximately ₹2.76 lakh. This planning subtotal assumes standard entry, five Applied Skills session exams, four Strategic Professional exams, EPSM, and first-attempt passes.
It excludes center-priced on-demand exams, coaching, books, taxes, card or bank charges, and resits. Those variables are why a responsible guide should not promise one final rupee amount to every student.
Our conversions use £1 = ₹129.4498, the RBI reference rate for 11 September 2026. Use current rates when you pay because your bank’s rate may differ.
Build your budget in four parts
A practical ACCA budget has four buckets. Keeping them separate shows where an estimate is complete and where you still need a quote.
1. ACCA account charges
These include initial registration and the annual student subscription. The subscription is recurring, so the time you take to qualify matters.
2. Assessment charges
This bucket includes session exam entries, on-demand CBE bookings, EPSM, or exemption fees. ACCA publishes some prices, while a licensed center sets the fee for on-demand exams.
3. Learning costs
Tuition, books, mock exams, recordings, revision classes, and mentoring belong here. A provider should state exactly what its package covers.
4. Transaction and contingency costs
Allow for exchange-rate movement, bank charges, taxes, a delayed paper, or a possible resit.

A sample three-year payment plan
The timing below is illustrative. It helps you see why “total fee” and “amount due now” are not the same.
At registration
Pay the displayed registration charge. If ACCA awards exemptions, include the related exemption charges after reviewing your assessment. Do not assume exemptions are free.
During year one
Add one annual subscription, your on-demand BT, MA, and FA bookings if you must sit them, and the tuition you choose. Depending on your route, LW may also be booked as an on-demand exam.
During years two and three
Add the annual subscription for each active year. Pay for Applied Skills and Strategic Professional papers as you book them, ideally before the standard-entry deadline. Add EPSM at the point that fits your progression plan.
This staged structure can make cash flow manageable, but it does not mean ACCA offers one universal installment plan. Provider installments apply only to that provider’s package unless the written terms say otherwise.
The no-exemption calculation
Here is our example using the fees that can be stated transparently:
- Registration: £30
- Three subscriptions: £420
- Five Applied Skills session exams: £755
- SBL, SBR, and two option exams: £841
- EPSM: £83
- Subtotal: £2,129, or around ₹2,75,600
We use five session-based Applied Skills exams because this model treats LW as an on-demand CBE. The relevant delivery method and price should be confirmed for your chosen variant and center.
To calculate your own figure, start with:
£1,709 + (£140 × active subscription years) + on-demand CBE prices + tuition and materials + transaction costs + resits, if required.
The £1,709 base contains the displayed registration fee, five Applied Skills session entries, four Strategic Professional entries, and EPSM. If ACCA updates any fee, replace that value rather than continuing to use this 2026 model.
How to budget when you receive exemptions
Exemptions change the papers you sit, but they do not reduce the charge to zero. ACCA currently displays £84 for each Applied Knowledge exemption and £111 for each Applied Skills exemption for India.
Suppose ACCA awards three Applied Knowledge exemptions. You would budget £252 in exemption charges instead of the BT, MA, and FA exam bookings. You may also avoid tuition for those papers.
The financial result depends on the CBE and tuition costs you avoid. It also depends on whether you feel prepared to begin at the next level. Check possible awards with the ACCA exemptions calculator, then wait for ACCA’s official confirmation before paying for classes.
Where ACCA budgets usually break
The most expensive mistake is often late exam entry. A December 2026 Applied Skills paper is listed at £151 during standard entry and £387 during late entry. That £236 difference can be avoided with a firm decision calendar.
Students also underestimate annual subscriptions. If your plan moves into another year, add another subscription using the price published for that year—not automatically the 2026 price.
Finally, watch for vague packages. “Full ACCA coaching” might cover all remaining papers, one level, or access for a limited period. Ask for paper names, batch dates, access duration, and inclusions in writing.
How to lower costs without weakening your preparation
Saving money should improve efficiency, not remove the support you need.
- Book within standard-entry deadlines. Late entry is a preventable cost.
- Use your confirmed exemptions. Do not buy tuition for a paper ACCA has officially removed from your route.
- Match the format to your habits. Recorded learning only saves money if you can study consistently without live accountability.
- Use mock performance as a booking signal. Paying early for an exam you are not ready to attempt may create another fee later.
- Compare complete written quotes. Include books, mocks, revision, taxes, and access duration in the comparison.
Your ACCA budget checklist
Before you enroll, write down:
- Confirmed exemptions and their charges
- Every remaining exam and expected sitting
- Standard-entry deadlines
- Expected subscription years
- Current on-demand CBE prices
- Paper-wise tuition and inclusions
- Books, taxes, and payment fees
- A modest contingency amount
Review the sheet before each exam cycle. A budget that changes with your progress is more useful than a fixed estimate copied from a webpage.

Frequently asked questions
Is ₹2.76 lakh the full ACCA course fee?
No. It is the published-fee subtotal in our stated example. Add on-demand CBE fees, tuition, materials, taxes, transaction costs, and possible resits for a fuller budget.
How much must I pay at the beginning?
You generally do not pay the entire qualification cost on day one. Registration is an early charge; subscriptions, exam entries, modules, and tuition become payable according to your route and schedule.
Do ACCA course fees include study material?
ACCA fees do not automatically include learning-provider books or classes. Confirm the contents of any tuition package in writing.
Final answer
Your ACCA course fee becomes manageable when you stop treating it as one mysterious number. Separate account, assessment, learning, and contingency costs; then place each payment on a realistic timeline.
Use £2,129, or about ₹2.76 lakh, only as the transparent subtotal in this no-exemption example. Replace its assumptions with your exemptions, duration, CBE quotes, and tuition choice to create the number that matters—your own.
