Travelling is something that everyone enjoys because it brings happiness, learning, excitement and many beautiful memories in our life. I believe travelling is like opening a new door every time, because we never know what new things we will see or learn. My parents always take me for a trip during holidays. Sometimes we go to new cities and sometimes to hill stations. Every trip teaches me something new about the world.
Whenever I travel, the first thing I feel excited about is nature. Nature looks different in every place. Sometimes we see mountains, sometimes rivers and sometimes huge forests. When we look at nature closely, we realize how big our world actually is. Cities are only a small part of our planet and there is so much nature to explore and enjoy. I think children should go out more, instead of staying inside with mobiles and TV.
Travelling also helps us learn about the culture of different people. People in south India eat different food from people in north India. In west India, clothes are different from east India. Every region has its own traditional dress, food and festivals. When we see other cultures, we learn to respect them. My mother always tells me that India is beautiful because of its diversity. Travelling helps us see this beauty closely.
One of my favourite things during travelling is tasting new food. Every city has some special items which we cannot find in normal hotels. When we went to Rajasthan, I tasted dal baati for the first time. When we travelled to Delhi, I tried chole bhature. In Kashmir, I drank hot kahwa tea. I realized that every place has something delicious and special to share with others.
Travelling also teaches us history. When we see forts, monuments and old buildings, we understand how ancient kings lived and what kind of art they used. When I visited Agra and saw Taj Mahal, I felt amazed. I always saw Taj Mahal pictures in books, but seeing it in real life made me speechless. It looked shining under sunlight and very beautiful. Now, whenever my teacher teaches history, I feel excited because I already saw many places written in my textbook.
Sometimes travelling becomes a little tiring because journeys take time, but still the happiness of visiting a new place is more important. Even when we travel by train or bus, we learn many things. We meet new people, listen to different languages and see new landscapes from the window. Watching trees, hills, fields and rivers from train window always makes me feel relaxed.
Another important thing travelling teaches is responsibility. When we travel, we have to pack our own clothes, keep our bags safe, and remember our important things. Earlier, I used to forget my water bottle or my cap, but now I keep checking my things again and again. My parents say that travelling makes children more independent.
Once when we travelled, our hotel room was near a lake. Early morning, birds were singing loudly and air felt very fresh. It was nothing like our busy city mornings. I really felt calm and peaceful. My parents told me how important nature is and why we should protect it. After that day, I understood why throwing plastic here and there harms nature. Now whenever we travel, I collect my garbage and throw it only in dustbin.
Another thing that makes travelling interesting is shopping. Every place sells handmade items made by local people. When tourists buy those things, they help local families earn money. I always ask my parents to buy at least one local item so that local workers feel happy. I bought a handmade necklace from Jaipur market and wooden toys from a hill station last summer.
Sometimes planning a trip is difficult for families, especially during holidays. Trains and hotels get booked fast. Parents also get confused about which places are best to visit. That’s why many families contact travel agents in gorakhpur who help them book trains, hotels and sightseeing plans. It becomes easier for parents and they enjoy their trip without stress.
During travelling, we also learn about safety. We should not talk to strangers too much, and we should always stay with our parents. We must take care of our money and important documents. My parents always tell me to carry a small bag with water, snacks and tissues. These small things help a lot when we visit many places in one day.
My favourite memory from travelling was when we visited Shimla. The weather was so cold that we had to wear gloves, caps and jackets. I saw snow for the first time in my life. I touched snow and my hands felt numb but extremely happy. I made a small snowman and clicked many photos. Seeing snow felt like magic to me. I understood how wonderful nature is and how lucky we are to see it.
After every trip, I feel like I learned something new. My knowledge increases, my confidence becomes stronger, and my thinking becomes wider. Travelling also makes family bonds stronger because we spend more time together, talk more, laugh more and enjoy without any tension. Even one small trip can create lifetime memories for a family.
Whenever I come back home from travelling, I look at photos again and again. I write about my trip in my notebook. My teacher also tells us to write travel diary because it helps us remember things in future. When we grow up, we can read our travel diary and smile at those beautiful memories.
My father tells me that travelling also makes us good human beings. We learn to share, help others, respect nature, and understand different cultures. We realize that the world is not just about us, there are many people living different lives in different places.
Many people nowadays like to travel during festivals and school vacations. That’s why sometimes everything gets crowded. So families take help from travel agents in gorakhpur especially for long trips. Travel agents guide them and make their journey comfortable.
In conclusion, travelling is one of the best ways of learning. It gives us knowledge, confidence, joy and unforgettable memories. It teaches what classrooms cannot teach. I think every student should travel whenever they get a chance, so that they can learn about nature, history and culture with their own eyes. I wish that I can travel to many more places in future and learn more about our beautiful world
