I’m Shelley Smith Adams, a storyteller inspired by the joyful, messy moments of childhood. My debut book, Coley Bear's Blue-Tastic Day, is based on my son Cole, who has Down syndrome. It celebrates the beauty in life’s messes and shows that all children, regardless of ability, share similar joys and milestones. As a mom and writer, I aim to create inclusive stories that inspire kindness, humor, and understanding in young readers and their families.
