After moving to los angeles in 2015, emily began working for a few catering companies as an event planner. despite much success behind the scene in the planning department, emily was never satisfied with the quality of food she was selling to her clients. at this point she decided to open her own catering and events company called plant base co. in 2016 and the rest is history. her company has been building steam over the last 4 years and went from only working with private clients at small intimate events to coordinating canapés for 400 people at corporate events and weddings of 150 guests. emily has an intuition in the kitchen that is unmatched and builds flavors and textures with love and true intention. with a focus on all natural cooking, organic ingredients, and global flavors, emily understands the nuances of flavor and combines her knowledge of classic techniques with creativity and flair that help to create the perfect meal.
