IB schools

These schools do not prefer to make the students go through the grinding process of trying to make them excel in all the subjects. The students of the IB schools are free to choose their subjects. While they have to cover all the subjects during their sessions, they have the freedom to pick three major subjects for themselves.
The schools run three programs, Primary Years (Nursery to Grade 5), Middle Years (Grade 6-10); and the Diploma Program (for grades 11 -12).

CBSE schools
Established in 1962, the CBSE board is the National board of education in India. There are more than 22,000 schools that follow the CBSE pattern for conducting examinations for students of classes 10t and 12th. CBSE schools have to follow the curriculum issues by the NCERT.
CBSE schools also categorize their grading system into compartments. The maximum share is given to the theory with some integration to viva and practicals. The schools are most known to focus on preparing, IT and medical candidates.
One of the main criticisms against the CBSE school has been about its curriculum. The schools are believed to prepare the students in theory while lacking practical skills. This vastly deters the chance of the student getting hired as compared to the students from IB schools.
With the shift in the competition, there has been a long-standing demand to bring a radical change to the Indian education system. Often it is seen that in the absence of application skills a lot of students in the country have to settle for second best options in life.
