WHAT IS NICIP 100MG TABLET
NICIP 100MG TABLET contains Nimesulide which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to treat inflammatory conditions including joint disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, post traumatic and post operative painful condition and fever. NICIP 100MG TABLET is also used to treat acute pain in orthopaedic, ENT, dental and mild to moderate pain of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Your doctor might advise regular liver function tests during treatment with NICIP 100MG TABLET.
NICIP 100MG TABLET is usually advised as a second line of treatment for a short duration of time in order to relieve symptoms.
NICIP 100MG TABLET is not recommended in case of active stomach or duodenal ulcers, alcoholism, drug addiction, cerebrovascular bleeding or bleeding disorders, severe clotting disorders, severe heart, kidney or liver impairment, fever and/or flu-like symptoms, a history of recurrent ulceration or gastrointestinal bleeding.
NICIP 100MG TABLET is not recommended during the third trimester of pregnancy and in breast feeding women.NICIP 100MG TABLET is not given to children and adolescents below 12 years of age. It should be used with caution in elderly patients.The most common side effects of taking NICIP 100MG TABLET are vomiting, diarrhoea or nausea and changes in the level of liver enzymes. Consult your doctor if above side effects does not improve.

HOW NICIP 100MG TABLET WORKS
NICIP 100MG TABLET works by blocking the enzyme involved in the production of certain chemical substances during inflammation, which are responsible for causing pain, redness, swelling and fever in the body. Hence decreasing the fever, pain and swelling caused after injuries.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take NICIP 100MG TABLET as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without meals.
For Tablet, Capsule: Swallow NICIP 100MG TABLET with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.
For Dispersible Tablet: Disperse NICIP 100MG TABLET in the specified quantity of water as mentioned in the label. Consume the mixture immediately after reconstitution.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Continue to take NICIP 100MG TABLET for the stipulated duration prescribed by your doctor to achieve better results.

Inflamed skin and redness
Tiredness, decreased muscle strength
Blood in urine and difficulty in urinating
Pain or burning sensation while urinating
Stop taking NICIP 100MG TABLET and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Signs of allergic reaction like rashes, mucosal lesions (exfoliative dermatitis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis)
Signs of liver injury (anorexia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue, dark urine or abnormal liver function tests)
Gastrointestinal bleeding or ulceration/perforation, stools with blood
Signs of fever like chills, shivering, feeling of uneasiness.
