It doesn’t get any better! William De Vaughn’s original of his “Crème De Crème” plays in its own league in terms of superior nonchalance and elegance in the groove.

For 40 years and without even noticing a single scratch in the ultra-clean polished sound finish. I have no idea why I don’t get unreserved approval with this view in large circles of soul circles – never mind, then it’s just my very personal thing.

Four decades after the invention of the “Crème De Crème” there’s reason to get the 12″ out of the closet again and not even experience the magic. “It’s basically a William de Vaughn revisited project” tells us Frank Fioravanti, who once had a decisive part in the creation of the original and has also been taking care of the complete works of William De Vaughn for many years through his Soundgems Records.
