Toyota C-HR landed in Europa with a 2.0-liter Dynamic Force Hybrid Powertrain
Although we are dealing with medium cycle cooling, the Toyota chr is not yet offered with a hybrid option in the United States of America. To do this, customers in the United States should be satisfied with the new lighting, trim, more standard equipment, new exterior colors, and Android Auto compatibility.
A 2.0-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine is the unique powertrain available in this region. The figures of horsepower and torque are 144 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 139 pound-feet of torque at 3,900 rpm respectively. CVTi-S and a preload differential are also standard, along with a Sequential Shiftmatic feature that helps the continuously variable transmission simulate a forward seven-speed automatic transmission.
There are three grades available for 2020, namely LE, XLE and Limited, available with new colors such as Supersonic Red, Hot Lava Orange and the Silver R-Code roof option. The redesigned front fairing consists of a sleeker bumper and LED headlights, the sides are decorated with 17-inch alloy wheels, and the signature taillight looks better than ever.
The 8.0-inch Toyota Audio touchscreen infotainment system serves as a complementation for the 4.2-inch multi-information driver display, which adds Android Auto to Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa compatibility. Three months of SiriusXM is also standard, along with Safety Connect features like stolen vehicle tracking, enhanced roadside assistance, and emergency assistance.
The subcompact crossover is now available with two hybrid options on the Old Continent. The familiar 1.8 has been upgraded to 122 horsepower and 109 grams of CO2 per kilometer, but the 2.0-liter Dynamic Force engine is the star thanks to its 184 horsepower and 118 grams per kilometer.
With the state-of-the-art technologies of Toyota, the dynamic force achieves a thermal efficiency of 41%. Non-hybrid versions of the engine reach 40%, which is still a world-class figure for a passenger car. European customers can also look forward to improved NVH and modified steering for improved feel, along with the latest road maps for the sat nav system.
