Another wing of salvation, both sides of faith, taught him to focus on the relationship he had with the divine, the connection he felt with all beings, and the calmness he felt in his heart. This connection with the spirit requires two items. The first is a private level, instinctual connection which may be developed through meditation and prayer. The next is an inner discipline that works to develop the spirit and its inherent spiritual virtues.
