Top Spiritual Education Secrets
Spiritual schooling in the west has frequently been taken for granted. Most colleges teach a fundamental religion to children, and parents often don’t pay sufficient attention to instilling a solid religious framework in their kids. Many times, schools focus on rote memorization and forget to educate kids about the interrelations of the human spirit and the world we live in. The center of spirituality is found within itself, so when religious education is reduced to rote memorization, it becomes much less than beneficial. Get more information about Abdruschin
But, there’s a new form of spiritual education emerging which is beginning to replace spiritual education all around the world. It has its roots in the work of American sociologist William Phillips along with his book, Spirit Of Success. Phillips argued that most successful people are spiritual beings, deeply motivated to succeed because they have a desire for God. They have an inner spiritual light that comes through when their spirits are exposed to God. They’ve a vision of God’s glory, and they understand how to move from the wholeness of the soul.
Because of the prevalence of the Spirit of succeeding, other educators are now starting to take precedence over spiritual education. While Phillips thought that the method by which children learn about God should be as personal and individual as their own personal spiritual journeys, most modern teachers have to catch up with Phillips’ notion. They teach kids about God, but they also put God’s greatness and power second. They tell children that though they have an understanding of who and what God is, they don’t have to become Christians just yet. Since they don’t fully understand the teachings of Jesusthey have to put the”power of God” second, so that they could provide moral guidelines and facts without putting Jesus or God in conflict with one another.
Spiritual educators have noticed that many men and women in the modern world have lost the ability to contact their spiritual beliefs. A lot of people have been led to believe all life is pointless and there is no significance in life. The”Gnostic” motion, which was created from the vacuum, educated that there’s not any way to gain any sort of knowledge about God. This caused a broad split between people of different religious and non-religious faiths and created a vacuum which has yet to be filled.
Phillips was born into a family of educators. He discovered early that he needed to give much more than his knowledge to achieve his goals. He started to realize that if he was planning to use his wisdom, it would take him to utilize his mind too. He had to develop two wings of spirituality: a strong conviction in the existence of a divine force and a strong dedication to social influence.
Spiritual instruction helps us to find that we are a part of a divine plan. It helps us to understand that every single individual is significant and that our actions have a ripple effect on the Divine Plan. Our decisions affect not just the next person we meet, but the entire Divine Plan. When we follow its directions, we’ll be able to move forwards as completely as we could and find true joy.
Since Phillips began to understand his beliefs more fully, he began to unite the two wings of spirituality that he believed were necessary to be able to move toward true freedom and fulfillment. One of these two wings, the side of faith, enabled him to utilize his mind as a medium by which he could connect to the spirit guides. He could pray to themget in contact with their messages, and receive advice in regions of his life that were problematic. Another wing of salvation, both sides of faith, taught him to focus on the relationship he had with the divine, the connection he felt with all beings, and the calmness he felt in his heart. Both wings functioned in tandem, and if they did, the real change came about.
This connection with the spirit requires two items. The first is a private level, instinctual connection which may be developed through meditation and prayer. The next is an inner discipline that works to develop the spirit and its inherent spiritual virtues. Phillips worked tirelessly to connect his religious education with his religious beliefs, and with this endeavor came much appreciation and encouragement from people who heard his message.
