Education and Experience: Dr. Macy earned his MD and BA degrees from Boston University. He later married Jeanette Macy, and they moved to Los Angeles for an internship. After medical school, Dr. Macy completed a research fellowship at the Doheny Eye Institute and completed his ophthalmology residency at USC. In 1983, Dr. Macy became a father again. He then went on to complete a pediatric residency at UCLA. Alexandra Macy was born during one of his rotations at the Children’s Hospital. After completing his residency, Dr. Macy completed a psychiatry residency at UCLA and a practice in Philadelphia.
In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Macy practices at Macy Eye Center in Los Angeles. He received his M.D. from the University of Southern California and is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He accepts multiple insurance plans and is board certified in Ophthalmology. In addition, he is a past president of the Beverly Hills District of the Los Angeles County Medical Association.
