It may turn out into a challenge for novice trekkers as one have to walk atleast 7-8 hours a day for whole 7 days covering approximately 115 km distance. Also, ups and downs and sometimes very steep ascend and descend might be a kind of problem for those who are not familiar with regular exercise and also hard for knee patients.
Altitude Sickness
As there are no rest days for acclimatization during Short Annapurna Base Camp trek, there is a high chance of getting altitude sickness for those who belongs to extreme lowland or who haven’t been to higher elevations. So, one should be prepared while moving towards the higher elevations.

The highly experienced guides are the one who could somehow predict the weather and guide the trekkers whether to wait for the situation or continue the trek. It’s been always a great challenge and have to be well prepared while on short trek to Annapurna Base Camp.
