Our staff works a full day on Saturday (from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.) to make it possible for patients who cannot see us during the week.
According to a recent article from CTV, the average one-way commuting time in the GTA is 42 minutes. If you’re in York Region (which many of our patients are), add another 11 minutes to bring the average commuting time to just under an hour. Multiply that by 2, and that’s nearly 2 hours of the day just to get to and from work. This time doesn’t include errands, social commitments, volunteering or other activities.
We really do understand why it’s hard for many patients to see a dentist!
There are some Richmond Hill dentists who open part of the day on Saturday, but those appointments tend to fill up quickly (and this can delay seeing a dentist in a timely manner). For these reasons, our team is available to serve patients 8 hours every Saturday, and we’re open 2 nights during the week (Monday and Friday) until 8:00 p.m.
