i) I do not agree with this statement. Both the leader of a team and its players are of great importance, but without the players there can be no leader. A leader must be aware of the importance of their team, and the importance of what their team thinks.

They must understand their role and its limitations, but equally understand its responsibilities, and hold themselves accountable for these.
iii) At college, I led the hockey team to the state Championship. I was chosen as captain halfway through the season, after the previous captain was badly injured, meaning that I felt some doubt in my ability to fulfil the role in the way that he had throughout the season thus far.
