Pura Air™ has developed both centralized and standalone medical-grade air purification systems to remediate and protect against all infectious and non-infectious airborne particulates.
Born out of necessity during the 2020 pandemic, Pura Air Purification was the brainchild of Dr. Wilson J. Kwong, a dentist, world-renowned dental educator, and entrepreneur living in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
Bringing leading industry experts from a variety of sectors together including, medical, industrial air cleaning, UVC lighting, and mechanical engineering, the group tackled the challenge of providing clean air in dental offices.
In investigating ‘out of the box solutions for the medical space, it became apparent that the solutions presented did not have the technical features to ensure protection is addressing the specific risk.
The group began to apply best practices to design solutions that work based on real-world science. The early prototype was built and Pura Air Purification was born.
The medical-grade system now has 4 different product options and works in any large space depending on needs.
We believe the Pura Air TC 1200 has the highest UVC light exposure per CFM than any other competitor offering anything in this industry and our flagship TC1200, is the only centralized air purification solution on the market that operates independently of HVAC systems providing safe, clean air.
