PHOTOTATVA An Exhibition of Still Photography at 8th Global Literary Festival
Noida: On the occasion of 8th Global Literary Festival Noida 2022- A photography exhibition was put up by the students of AAFT School of Still Photography depicting and highlighting different aspects of life in coloured and black & white pictures.
The exhibition was inaugurated by HE Moe Kyaw Aung Ambassador of Myanmar to India, Gen. J. J. Singh Former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh and Author, Prem Janmejai Veteran Author, Acharya Lokesh Muni Founder President of Ahimsa Vishva Bharti, Dr. Heera Lal IAS Additional Mission Director-National Health Mission and Ermia Raaescu Educationist from Romania. The dignities were surprised by the the quality of work presented in the exhibition. Everyone expressed their views on the large number of photographs displayed for three days at the festival.
Aum Nam Suk President of South Korea-India Cultural Society , Dr. Gopal Ji of Global Yog Alliance and Arti Makkar Bandlish renowned artist were the special guest. The exhibition was well attended by all the delegates of the literature festival from all over India.
“In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality. Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever and It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah appreciating the hard work of students.
President of South Korea-India Cultural Society Aum Nam Suk, said that “You never take a photograph, you make it.” Associate Dean, School of Still Photography, Tanushri Srivastava, said that the students tried to portray the photographs that depicts some sort of stories and have deep meanings behind the frame.
The various themes include “Abnormality is Beautiful” by Jai Khatwani (BA III Photography), “Yamuna Floods 2022” by Abhay Pratap (Diploma Student), “5 Elements” by Kapil Parmuval (BA III Photography). Three awarded photographs were exhibited by Atul Yadav – a student of photography department.
The visitors appreciated the collection and conveyed their love towards the collections. Exhibition was supported by Asian Academy of Arts, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and World Peace Development and Research Foundation.
