Olympic Paris: LAURA MASE – YOUTH ASSISTANT COACH
Since 1993, Laura has been an artistic swimmer in the USA. Laura competed in swimming from 1993 to 2001 for the New Canaan YMCA Aquinas. And from 2001 to 2005 for the University of Richmond. Where she received her degree in communication and elementary education. She began her coaching career while still in college, working with the Richmond Dolphilinas. In Indianapolis, Indiana, Laura served as Director of Education for the United States for Sport Swimming from 2005 to 2008.

Where she graduated in 2011 with a master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. While in graduate school. Laura returned to her home club as an assistant coach at Aquinas, where she has been coaching ever since.
Laura is a full-time speech pathologist with students with special needs in high school. She has been coaching Aquinas’ youth team since 2011, despite being a full-time worker, due to her love of the game and desire to improve her athletic ability. Laura competed successfully in track and field to qualify for the US national team and win several medals in various sports at national championships. Laura was selected as the East Zone Coach of the Year in 2022, as well as the Head Coach of the Under-12 National Team in 2020.
Ou Liu – Junior Assistant Coach
The head coach of the Santa Clara Aqua women’s junior program is Ou Liu. She was the Aqua Maids trainer for eight years. And she has been artistic swimming for almost two decades. From 2005 to 2013, she competed as a member of the China National Sports Swimming Team.
