What are some common problems patients may experience with braces?

One common issue with braces is a broken metal bracket. These are placed with a removable adhesive so the braces can be removed, but sometimes these brackets will break. If this happens, the fix is you come see us for a visit, we remove the bracket, and re-bond it. Orthodontist Narrows

Another common issue is what we call the pokey wire. With a metal or ceramic set of braces, the wires we begin treatment with are small and light. And these light wires can have sharp ends. Inevitably sometimes these wires need clipping and bending so they don’t poke your mouth.
