‘Little Britain’ Creators Apologize After Netflix, BBC Pull Show Over Blackface Concerns

Matt Lucas and David Walliams have apologized for the use of blackface in their series “Little Britain.”

Lucas and Walliams posted public apologies on Twitter at the same time on Saturday evening, days after Netflix, BBC iPlayer and Britbox removed the series from their platforms. Netflix has also dropped the comedians’ airport mockumentary “Come Fly With Me.”

The pair had been conspicuously silent on the matter since the show’s removal made international headlines.
