E-Cell (within the Amity Innovation Incubator) focuses on creating a business culture and ecosystem in academia by involving students in various business activities and also helping them to develop business ideas and pass these ideas on to the incubation center to support the initiative. Students are exposed to entrepreneurial life skills (problem solving, decision making, creativity, collaborative work, leadership, critical thinking, resource management, communication, risk acceptance, failure management) and business life cycle knowledge (idea, opportunity evaluation, solution building, creating encourage them to “get out of the box”, build on “problems” around them as “opportunities” and keep ideas instead of their own “passions”.
