Summary
Keele University was the first entirely new university in the United Kingdom when it was established in the early 20th century. More than 70% of Keele’s undergraduate students choose to pursue dual honors degrees, which were initially offered by the institution. The 10,000 undergraduate students atthe university come from about 120 different countries, and almost all of them have the opportunity to study for a semester at one of its 80 partner universities.

History
Established in 1949, Keele University is located in Staffordshire, England. Keele is midway between Birmingham and Manchester, just a short distance from the cities of Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent, and 20 miles from the Peak District, a charming national park renowned for its scenic splendor. It is regarded as the biggest campus in the nation and features a few notable structures along with a science park.

University of Keele Scholarships
This grant is available to international undergraduate students studying a variety of courses. However, Keele University’s medical programs are not subject to it. The candidates need to meet the requirements for eligibility. The annual study value will be £2,500.
Scholarships Abroad 2024
Keele University has released a number of new scholarship possibilities for students who are self-funded. The intriguing thing is that students can apply for these Keele scholarships without having to do it individually. These tuition cost reductions will be automatically granted to students who satisfy the eligibility requirements.
Scholarships for Keele International Excellence
Undergraduate
This grant is available to international undergraduate students studying a variety of courses. Programs in medicine are not subject to it, though. The candidates need to meet the requirements for eligibility. The annual study value will be £2,500.
This award is also available to students who are interested in the Keele Foundation Year course. Of course, there are some requirements for eligibility.
For qualified applicants, the university may combine this prize with the Keele Developing Countries Scholarship.

Alumni Discount at Keele
Both graduates of Keele University’s online courses and graduates from its on-campus programs may be qualified for this opportunity. A 20% reduction in tuition fees is available to them. The fee concession will also apply to students who have taken study abroad placements or exchange courses at Keele in the past. The 20% discount will be applied after all other award discounts have been applied, therefore students should be aware that the university may combine this award with other Keele scholarships.
Scholarship for Developing Countries
As of December 2018, the World Bank maintained a list of the least developed, low-income, and lower-middle-income nations. International students studying in these nations are eligible to receive grants of £1,000 year for their studies.
If any student qualifies, the university may combine this scholarship with the other Keele awards. Keele University is thrilled to be involved in the subsequent external scholarship programs.

The International Student Support Team at Keele University is in charge of setting up the Meet and Greet program for incoming freshmen each year. Student Life
The campus of Keele University is located a short distance from Stoke-on-Trent, a bustling and reasonably priced town, and just ten minutes from Newcastle-under-Lyme. Both towns have a variety of venues to eat, shop, and enjoy entertainment. In addition to the many cafés, restaurants, bars, and clubs in Stoke-on-Trent and the neighboring town of Newcastle, there is a thriving student community around the school.
About 45 minutes distant is Alton Towers, the biggest theme park in the UK, while Trentham has exquisite gardens and upscale stores. Just 20 miles from Keele lies the stunning Peak District National Park, which gives students the chance to engage in outdoor activities and pastimes. Pottery museums, art galleries, Premier football—Stoke-on-Trent has it all when it comes to entertainment and culture.
Accommodation
For overseas undergraduate applicants who apply before the deadline, campus housing is assured. For nearly 2,800 students, a range of housing options, including standard, en suite, and apartments, are offered on campus to meet a variety of budgets. There are regular and en suite rooms to choose from, as well as catered choices.

Move around
The distance between the on-campus apartments and the Keele University campus center is ten minutes on foot.

Newcastle-under-Lyme can easily access Keele University’s Staffordshire campus. Situated in a strategic mid-country location, it takes less than two hours to reach London and little over an hour to reach Manchester and Birmingham. A collection of English cities and towns with a long history of ceramic production stretching back to the Industrial Revolution are collectively referred to as the “Potteries.”
