Is BS Anesthesia a doctor
There is no easy answer to this question as it depends on a number of factors. Generally speaking, however, BS anesthesia providers who have completed a residency in anesthesiology and hold a board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) are considered to be doctors. Other healthcare providers such as nurse anesthetists may also be considered to be doctors depending on their training and credentials. Ultimately, it is up to the individual healthcare provider to determine whether or not they consider themselves to be a doctor.
