A famous sporting event ICC Cricket World Cup that is organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC), takes place every four years. The event involves qualified cricket international teams, competing in 50 over matches.

As per 2020 ICC team ranking, in Test cricket Australia team is leading. In ODIs England is on first position while in T20I Australia leads.
In the ICC cricket tournament, there have been four totals of over 400 in World Cups. On the top of the list is Australia, which has the highest world cup score of 417/6 against Afghanistan at the WACA in Perth. This is the highest team score in World Cup history. The Australian players David Warner’s 260-run second wicket partnership with Steve Smith, who went on to 95, was an Australian ODI record beating the 252 of Ricky Ponting and Shane Watson against England at Centurion in 2009 and Glenn Maxwell hit a rapid 88 off just 39 balls with six fours and seven sixes. They together didn’t allow the Afghanistan bowlers to settle. Thus, Australia wins by 275 runs. The five times World Cup Winners Australia have three totals in the Top 10 highest totals in cricket World Cup, while South Africa and India have two each. In World Cup 2015 only four totals in Top 10 have been recorded which was conducted in Australia and New Zealand.
