How to use SVG graphics to make a BIMI-compatible logo
When utilizing BIMI, you must guarantee that your logo is hosted online. Only once your logo complies with certain requirements will it start appearing next to your email messages and function properly. Jpeg, png, and gif files will not function with BIMI. Change the format of your logo to SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics).
Brand Indicators for Message Identification or BIMI is a new standard that allows organizations and enterprises to showcase their brand emblem alongside their email message in the inbox of a consumer or client. This not only raises brand awareness but also improves email deliverability by preventing fraudulent emails from reaching any recipients’ mailbox.
BIMI is a critical protocol that builds confidence and improves the subscriber experience, which is something all businesses strive for at every level of their email program. In an email inbox, BIMI aids recipients in recognizing a brand right away. This increases client trust in the company and its email messages.
BIMI is based on the DMARC protocol. If BIMI is to be used, the domains in question must first be authenticated by DMARC to ensure that the email is legitimate before the brand’s logo is shown next to it. BIMI contributes to the brand’s value by using the company’s DMARC investment from a visibility and cybersecurity standpoint.
