How to upgrade seats on EVA Airline

What is the seat upgrade and how does it work?

  • Move to the official site of EVA Air if you wish to upgrade your seat after making EVA Airlines reservations.

  • Browse the “Manage Travel” option and add the necessary details like the last name and reservation or booking number.

  • Click on the “Next” tab and move further.

  • After retrieving your trip, click on the “Edit my booking” option.

  • All the details related to your reservation will appear on your screen. Navigate to the seat section and click on the “Upgrade my Seat” option.

  • Pick your preferred travel class and click on the “OK” tab to confirm.

  • Now, check the difference in price and make a payment. You will be notified about all the changes via phone or e-mail.

With the “Manage booking” option, you can make other changes also in your EVA Airlines reservations. 

EVA Air ticketing office

You can connect to the EVA Air ticketing office to request the upgrade on your existing booking. You have to provide all the details of your ticket and request the agents to upgrade your ticket to a higher class. If the seats are available, you will be upgraded within no time; you will be required to pay the difference in fares.

At the time of check-in

If you want to upgrade at the time of check-in, ask the check-in staff about the availability. The agents will tell you a difference in fare to upgrade to a higher class. One can choose any of the fare classes such as Premium Laurel, Business, Elite, and Economy. Only one factor will decide if you can upgrade your EVA Airlines reservations and that is the availability of space. Pay the upgraded fee and have a comfortable and relaxed journey. Have a talk with the airline agent available at the check-in desk and inquire if there is any possibility of a free upgrade. 

There are certain things that might help you to get a free upgrade like your smart appearance. If you are on a special trip like travelling alone or a honeymoon trip, then you might get the free upgrade, though chances are very low. You don’t have any specific way to get the free upgrade, it totally depends upon the flight state and the discretion check-in staff.
