How to Setup Wowway Email Account
You can acquire up to five WOW email addresses with your accounts on the company’s WowWay email domain name if you have internet access from Wide Open West, or WOW. - Outgoing port: 25, and incoming port: 143
- Secure — SSL/TLS Security Type and Port: 993 (Accept all certificates)
- Unsafe: Ports 143 and None (accept all certificates) as the security type
- Not checked: An encrypted connection is required for this server (SSL)
- Use a secure connection of the following type None
Note: Remember to check the “This service requires a secure connection (SSL)” box in both outgoing and incoming messages if you use Secure SSL / TLS Settings.
Standard SMTP port settings for WOWWAY.COM
- Secure (SMTP) Outgoing — SSL/TLS security type and port: 465 (Accept all certificates)
- Secure Outgoing (SMTP Roaming Server — SSL/TLS security type and port 587 (Accept all certificates)
- Port 25 for outgoing (SMTP), and None for security (Accept all certificates)
- Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) (SMTP roaming server) Unsecure — Security Type: None and Port: 587 (Accept all certificates)
