How to Find CBSE Class 12 Physics Notes
If you want to get a good score in your Class 12 physics exam, you must practice hard. There are various ways to prepare for the exam and you should be aware of them. For instance, you can use the online resources or study guides. However, it is better to refer the actual notes, as these are the most accurate. These class 12 physics notes are based on a lot of studies and experiments and they are easy to understand.
Wave optics
There is a new branch of Physics called Wave Optics, which deals with the wave nature of light. This is a very important subject for the candidates of Class 12 and for the students of JEE Mains. It helps them to understand the different optical phenomena.
The main concept of the new branch is that light travels in a transverse wave motion. Therefore, there is no ray approximation in this branch. In fact, the particle nature of light is supported by two scientific societies.
In 1926, the term photon was coined. This term was based on the theory of Max Planck. He hypothesized that light is made up of tiny energy packets that have a small particle size.
This principle is used to explain a lot of optical phenomena. For instance, diffraction, interference, and refraction are all examples of waves.
Extrinsic Semiconductors
Extrinsic Semiconductors are the ones which are produced by doping with impurities. They are doped with P-type or N-type dopants. These dopants increase the conductivity of the semiconductor. The dopant atom has one less electron than the surrounding atoms.
These atoms are added to pure metals, such as silicon, to make them more conducting. When dopants are present in a semiconductor, their number is much larger than the atoms in the pure material. However, these impurities can cause some problems, such as electrical resistance. This is because the impurities aren’t part of the semiconductor itself.
There are three types of dopants: trivalent atoms, pentavalent atoms, and tetravalent atoms. Pentavalent atoms are atoms with valencies of five. In this case, the fourth atom has a free space, whereas the third and fourth atoms have covalent bonds with the parent atom. Trivalent atoms are atoms with an valency of three.
Electromagnetic waves
Electromagnetic waves are one of the most important topics for Class 12 Physics students. The electromagnetic wave is defined as the passage of radio or television signals through space.
These waves are produced by oscillating charge particles. There are several types of electromagnetic waves. Some of them include gamma rays, microwaves, and ultraviolet radiation. They are used in medicine and radio communication.
This is the chapter that deals with some of the most useful and important properties of electromagnetic waves. In this chapter, you will learn about the wavelength of the waves, the spectrum of the waves, and the formulas relating to the wavelength.
You will also be able to read about the frequency and power of these waves. Also, you will find out what makes these waves different from other types of waves.
Alternating current can power electric motors
Aside from DC, there’s alternating current which powers electric motors. Alternating current is used to run AC motors which are ideal for large jobs but also useful for small jobs. When using this power source, you need to be aware of the different types of motors. There are synchronous, induction, asynchronous, and asynchronous motors. All of them have their own pros and cons.
For starters, in order to keep the rotor from freezing up, it needs to spin at a synchronous speed. To achieve this, a squirrel-cage rotor is used. This is a simple structure consisting of copper bars connected with rings that run the length of the rotor. These bars are commonly found in most domestic and light industrial AC motors.
Practice questions in physics
Physics is one of the most important subjects in the CBSE class 12 examination. The syllabus includes a variety of concepts, definitions and diagrams. Therefore, it is crucial to thoroughly study the topic before the exam.
In order to score high marks in the exam, students should know how to find practice questions in CBSE Class 12 Physics. This will help them understand the kind of questions that will appear in the exam.
Ideally, students should study the NCERT textbook first. It is an authoritative book and has been approved by the CBSE board. However, students should also go through the exam question papers to get an idea of the type of questions that will be asked.
For instance, class 12 chemistry notes questions will focus on topics such as magnetism, optics, and electrostatics. Moreover, the students will be given a case study-based question of five marks. Hence, it is crucial for the students to answer all the questions properly and correctly.
