A supervisor who hires well in the first place can’t go wrong, as they will weed out those bad eggs right away. Pay attention to personality traits like creativity, ambition, reliability, communication skills and empathy. If someone doesn’t have these qualities it will be pretty obvious before they even start working for you! Plus, if you only hire people who are reliable and trustworthy this means that when something goes wrong with an employee your response is always going to be perfect.
