Register online:
Creating an account in the CIOB online portal is your first step. When having done this, you can complete your Pathway Finder and begin your journey to Chartered Membership or Fellowship.

Submit your application:
Upload your latest CV copy and any relevant qualifications. When submitting your application and paying the appropriate fees, it will, usually, be assessed and verified within 14 working days.
You will first join one of CIOB’s Pathways and a Non-Chartered membership status of Student or Applicant.

Professional Review or Fellowship assessment:
Professional Review:
CIOB Professional Review is the last phase for you to attain Chartered Membership. When you find yourself eligible for this review, start working on it. Fellowship Assessment:

Technical Member Assessment:
Your first step to Technical Membership (TechCIOB) starts with completing your eligibility form. After that, you will get access to CIOB’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). CIOB’s VLE is to help you achieve your Technical Member grade (TechCIOB). It includes guidance, videos and your final application form.
When you have completed your form, upload your application to the VLE with supporting documents. Expect the process to consume nearly 6 to 8 weeks after CIOB receives your application and payment. It may consume more time if any documents or information is missing from what you have submitted.
