Hide Your Hair Restoration Scar For Good
What is the reason behind the scalp micropigmentation occurrence of a hair restoration scar? If you had a hair transplant especially if it was decades ago, the consequence is a scar or scars often located on the posterior side of the head. In fact, there are two kinds of hair restoration surgery that can cause scars.
The first one is the follicular unit strip surgery or fuss. A strip of the scalp is remove from the donor site (posterior of the head) and the hair follicles from it are implanted into the balding or thinning area. The opened wound in the donor site is sewn back that results to hair restoration scar. The second type is known as the follicular unit extraction or hue where hair strands are transplanted per group of one to four into the balding area. This method is scar-free but can give “patchy” appearance on the donor site because of plucked hairs.
These transplant scars are not easy to remove because there are several factors that should be taken into account like the history of the patient, severity and length of the scar and patient’s expectations. Most patients have already gone through a procedure that makes them reluctant to get one more. That’s why some of them just keep long hair to hide the scar or use a temporary cover-up or get a micro-hair tattoo for the scalp.
Some patients apply concealer to hide the scar at the back of their heads if they want to have short hair. It is the cheapest way to cover-up a scar. However, since it’s temporary, you should be extra careful not to let others touch the back area of your head and you are well covered up during a rainy day or else the concealer will fade.
If the patient prefers to have micro hair tattooing, the scar is covered up permanently so there’s no need to apply cover-ups daily like a concealer. Also, the hair can now be cut short since the scar is already hidden from the visible eye. Every one is qualified for this hair transplant scar treatment. It also comes at cheap price which makes it a number one choice of most patients.
