Noida, December 20, 2025: Billabong High International School (BHIS), Noida successfully hosted MATRIX 2025, its flagship interdisciplinary exhibition, marking a significant milestone of ten years of nurturing curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, scientific temperament among learners on 20th December, centered on the thought-provoking theme  - Health in Harmony: Wellness of Body, Mind and Environment, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).


The opening ceremony of MATRIX 2025 was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries Ms. Shaoli Chakraborty (a feminist action-research oriented development professional with over 22 years of experience advancing gender equality, workforce well-being, health and climate resilience) and Ms. Neha Gupta (an independent consultant with 23+ years of leadership in environmental policy, behaviour change, and strategic communication, currently indulged in consultancy assignments with reputed organizations like UNOPS, CII, Bharti Airtel, ICWMR, TERI SAS, and serves as Head – Sustainability & Behaviour Change at Chakra Dialogues Foundation) - both actively contributing towards the United Nations–defined Sustainable Development Goals.


The exhibition served as an inspiring platform for students to showcase innovative scientific models, research projects, and interactive demonstrations that explored the interconnection between physical health, mental well-being, and environmental sustainability. “MATRIX reflects our commitment to nurturing future-ready learners who can think critically, innovate fearlessly, and collaborate meaningfully. Through platforms like these, we aim to empower students with opportunities that go beyond textbooks and prepare them for real-world challenges.”, said Dr. Parmjit Gandhi, Chairman Billabong High International School Noida.

Projects reflected key SDGs such as Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6), Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG 7), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), and Climate Action (SDG 13). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of stakeholders - students, parents, educators and academic community, fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration.


Students across grades displayed remarkable creativity and scientific understanding through models on nutrition and lifestyle diseases, mental health awareness, pollution control, renewable energy, waste management, eco-friendly innovations, and sustainable living practices. Their practical solutions highlighted the importance of science in addressing real-world challenges.

MATRIX 2025 concluded on an inspiring note, reinforcing the message that true progress lies in maintaining harmony between human health and the environment, and empowering young minds to become responsible, innovative, and sustainability-conscious citizens.
