Guess it is for the better since it is the basic PSO formula.
Its better to not be an Open world to tell the truth, remember how Maplestory good maps were hogged by High level players and AFK Vacuum Meso Farming bots, or PSO2 Meseta what about Hackers vacuuming the mobs and the World Bosses into an unreachable area players can not access without the clip hacking out of boundaries and that bot simply kill them all in an instant and loot it all, and market them to the Player Shop for exorbitant prices for Meseta to market RMT out of? Yeah that’s gonna be a poor look for a open world MMO. I wouldn’t mind a Pawn, such as Dragon’s Dogma, which learns from you while you play together.
And the manner that the matches coexist using the block-like system! Not the biggest fan of how there appears to be two completely distinct body meshes for style, and it cannot be mixed and matched. Regardless, very pleased with how this is playing out. Maybe because of New Genesis’s Physique Character is probably having extra details like Skin Lustre and Moving Finger animations that cannot be moved over to PSO2 base game, The only wish I had is that a single day, they would patch every fashion to be mixture and mash potential, such as for instance, using a CAST arm in NGS while the other parts are PSO2 parts to keep the fingers moving etc..
Yeah it definitely has to do with fundamentally distinct body projection about the new outfits, along with insufficient resources (money and time ) to update rigs on current outfits. Considering everything Sega is doing in the pictures overhaul, there’s no way this limitation would be set up if it had been an easy fix. And there a quite a great deal of outfits, especially on JP side. I truly hope they just gradually update clothes over time especially the exclusive ones from the item codes and collabs. I wouldn’t mind if they make them in a separate NGS scratch when it will induce them to do this. This is actually nice. I really do hope though that they slowly update the old PSO2 Outfits and Layered wears to let finger motion farther down the line.
Seems like a perfect chance for them….to sell them to buy meseta pso2 you as Scratch items and call them the”GVS” models or something. Yeah, I fully expect them to go this route. I have worked in the market previously and rigging palms up isn’t hard work, the issue is how many costume things would have to be modified without a financial justification. Plus giving folks completely working items with all the benefits (on what’s essentially a new game) would deincentivise players purchasing the”new” stuff. Yeah. But with recolors and market them as new instead of giving us the ability to recolor them openly. And the ones that you can recolor costs exchanging scratch items for a color pass.
