Table reductions in 2022, the amount that customers paid to purchase chips, rose 163.6% year-on-year to nearly 1.99 trillion won.

The full-year figure is calculated when December earnings are tallied. Casino sales rose 8.3% sequentially from November to nearly 30.55 billion won in December, according to the same filing, and 201.4% year-on-year.

Table game sales rose 10.9% month-on-month to 28.37 billion won in December. Compared to the same month last year, the company posted a 222.6% increase.

Machine game sales fell 16.6% sequentially to 2.18 billion won last month, but increased 62.5% year-over-year.

Grand Korea Leisure is a subsidiary of the Korea Tourism Organization and is affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The company operates three foreigner-only, seven-luck-branded casinos. Two are in the capital city of Seoul, including Gangnam, and one is in the southeastern port city of Busan (pictured).

The group closed its Gangbuk Seoul concert hall at the Millennium Hilton Hotel on Dec. 30 and moved game operations to Seoul Dragon City, which will take effect on Dec. 31.

Last week, Grand Korea Leisure announced that it will reduce the size of its Chinese marketing team and reduce the number of liaison offices in Japan by a third.
