My last week in Goa wasn’t just a vacation. It was much more that exceeded my expectations. The hotel that we had booked was a wonderful property, enveloped by magnificent vistas, and seemed to be a perfect place, especially for discerning tourists like us who were scouting for never-ending fun, excitement, adventure, and pleasure for the next few days. Our hotel was situated in South Goa and a few hours’ drives transported us to the most enchanting places that proved to be a delight to the eyes and soul.
MARK MY WORDS, if a trip involves celebrating life amidst the alluring outdoors, then Goa certainly won’t disappoint anybody. We set ourselves for an enjoyable day ahead and zoomed on the motorbikes that we took for a rent from our hotel. Believe me, it is the only place where you can get the vehicles more conveniently than petrol or gas. After a few hours’ drive, we reached a pristine beach called Candolim. It is a famous beach that is nestled around 14 kms north of Panaji (capital of Goa). It may not be a happening beach but it is an empyrean for the tourists looking for peace and relaxation.
The next morning was a little laid-back after the late-night entertaining ride and most of us got up late. We beat the heat by taking a refreshing swim in the swimming pool of the hotel and set ourselves for another wonderful day. None of us would have ever thought in their wildest dreams that we will be visiting an awe-inspiring place in Goa, known as the Anjuna Beach. It is a stunning beach located around 18 kms from Panaji. It is popular among the tourists for its night parties. This place offers a breathtaking atmosphere and it hypnotizes the visitors with its bewitching beauty that it can be rightly called a “Poet’s Delight”. While the foot tapping music sets you up in a party mood, the cool evening breeze proves as a perfect ointment for your tired soul.
Recollecting all those unforgettable moments, after the grand euphoria, my friends departed for the airport. After just one month of joining the office, I got a room in a popular residential complex.
