Dag Albert, who is currently serving as Horse Sport Ireland’s acting High-Performance Director, praised the team for their outstanding performance. He expressed his delight and relief at securing Olympic qualification, stating that they can now relax a bit. He also commended the team’s effort, especially in the cross-country section on Saturday. Albert explained that they all walked the course together and made a plan, which the riders executed brilliantly, and everyone played their part.
He further added that Susie provided a perfect start in the final show jumping, and the rest of the team did their best, which proved to be enough in the end.
