Steps you can take to change your password on Facebook if you are already logged in:
Step 1: If you are already logged in, click the arrow in the upper right corner of any Facebook page.
Step 2: After that, in the drop-down options, select Settings.
Step 3: A new page appears here, click on Security and Login. (Left side of page)
Step 4: Click Edit next to Change Password.
Step 5: After that, enter your current password and the new password.
How to set up recovery email, phone number, and emergency contacts
If you managed to remember your password and log in, it is best to add additional verification and recovery methods, such as a trusted phone number and contacts.
