Park Rules
- Nature Park protects all animal and plant life. Please do not touch, disturb or cause damage to the park’s natural resources.
- You can help protect the wildlife in the Nature Park and ensure their well-being.
- Motorized vehicles, hunting balloons, fishing, smoking, confetti, firework, fires, and alcoholic drinks are prohibited.
- Pets with leashes are acceptable, but they will not be allowed to run wild, and they would like you to clean their mess.
- It is not allowed to rest or sit on boardwalks, railings, or bridge fences.
- Phinizy Center for Water Sciences cannot eliminate the risk of natural ecosystems like Phinizy Swamp being disturbed.
Hours
The Phinizy Swamp Nature Park can be accessed at no cost. It is open to the public all year, from dawn till dusk. From October through March, hours are 7 AM-7 PM, and from April through September, 7 AM-8 PM. Volunteers run the Swamp Shop and Visitor Center.
