everything about 316Ti stainless steel
What exactly is 316Ti stainless steel?
316Ti is a titanium-stabilized version of austenitic stainless steel type 316 that contains molybdenum (UNS S31635). The commonly used chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels, such as 304, are less resistant to general corrosion, pitting/crevice corrosion, and general corrosion than the 316 alloys.
What is the distinction between 316 and 316Ti steel?
To reduce the possibility of corrosion in the heat-affected zone, titanium (Ti) was added to the steel to create 316Ti. Reducing the carbon(C) content, which results in grade 316L, is one way to avoid this.

Stainless Steel Impex is a well-known manufacturer, stockist, supplier, and distributor of Stainless Steel 316TI Sheets, Plates, and Coil. Stainless Steel 316Ti Plates contain 20% nickel and 25% chromium and are effective in reducing environments containing sulfur. Because of its low carbon content, the metal is also resistant to embrittlement. SS 316Ti Sheets are commonly utilized in extreme conditions, such as furnace manufacturing and heat treating equipment. While both hot and work practices can be applied, cold working is not commonly done on SS 316Ti Plates, however, it is the only way to work harden the metal.
