We never know what will happen or what is happening around us. So at Etihad Airways we have been flexible for our customers to cancel their flight in these circumstances that may occur suddenly.

However, before canceling your tickets, you must go through the Etihad Cancellation Policy. We have developed some rules and regulations that will help you in case of cancellation of tickets.

  • The Etihad Airways flight cancellation policy is nothing more than a contract between the customer and Etihad, which complies with a set of rules or a set of terms and conditions that have been established by the Etihad Airways authority for the convenience of the customer.

Etihad Airways cancellation policy 24 hours

You can cancel your ticket up to 24 hours before the departure of the flight and you will receive a full refund for it, depending on the fare rules.

Tickets booked online or booked by calling the customer service number  can be canceled without penalty within 24 hours of issuing a ticket.

This does not include booking tickets that are booked within one week of flight departure.

Etihad cancellation and refund policy

We have designed our cancellation policy for the ease and simple understanding of our customers.

  • If you need to make changes to your booking or cancel your ticket within 96 hours of departure, then 10% of the cost of the ticket will be deducted as cancellation fees.
  • Remember, Etihad Airways does not charge cancellation fees for circumstances such as the death of a family member, for which you will need documentation for the same to check.
  • The Etihad cancellation policy clearly states that the ticket must fall into the refundable category for the cancellation and refund of the ticket.
  • The refund will be processed in accordance with the terms and conditions which are set out in the Etihad Cancellation and Refund Policy and which are mentioned on the ticket purchased.
  • The ticket price will depend on the different terms and conditions mentioned for that ticket.
