Dog Dewormer For Cancer
While cancer research continues to blaze a trail of progress, some pet owners are looking back at the past to find alternative methods of treatment. This has led to some incredible results that have scientists, veterinarians and pet owners stunned. The latest is the story of an Old English Sheepdog named Dexter who, with the help of a dog dewormer, helped to send his cancer into remission.
The dewormer in question is called fenbendazole (or sometimes albendazole) and is used to treat parasites in dogs. There isn’t enough evidence to suggest that it works as a human cancer treatment. It is also not approved by any regulatory agency as an anticancer drug.
In a series of Facebook posts and TikTok videos, an unlicensed veterinarian named Andrew Jones claims that fenbendazole cured his lung cancer. This claim has gone viral, with the posts and video being reposted millions of times on social media platforms since February 2023.
According to the vet, the anthelmintic medication worked by blocking the formation of microtubules within tumor cells. Microtubules give structure to all cells in the body, including cancerous ones, but fenbendazole prevents them from growing properly. This leads to cancer cell death.
This method of cancer treatment has been proven effective in mice and other lab animals. Unfortunately, it’s not yet approved for use in humans because of concerns about the risk of side effects. But a number of people have been using fenbendazole as part of their Joe Tippens protocol and reporting positive results.dog dewormer for cancer
