Method 4 – Restart Windows in Selective Startups
- Close the QuickBooks Desktop
- Now you need to select the run option
- For Windows XP – select the start icon >>>> run icon
- Windows 7 and Vista >>>start icon >>> All program tab >>>>accessories tab >>>> Run icon
- Windows 8 and 10 — on the keyboard press Windows +R
- Now click on Ok going after the run section and type the MSConfig command
- You will see the “system configuration utility”
- Select selective startup on the current web page and clear the load startup object checkbox
- Click on ok and save the changes
- Now restart the computer
- After restarting the computer, reopen QuickBooks and get the most latest tax table
- Proceed with repeating steps 1 to 4 and return to the “system configuration utility” if you can able to download the update
- Select the normal setup checkbox >>>> click on ok
- Restart the computer once more to end the process
Method 5 – Installing Manually Updates
- Go to update QuickBook’s latest release
- Make sure to select the product
- Click on the “change ” option >>>> select the QuickBooks product
- Now select the “Update “option and save the file where you want
- Now click on the “save option”
- Now Locate the file downloaded earlier
- Double-click on the “Install the update option”
- After finishing installation click on “Restart the windows”
