Distribition of demersal species and density of the economic fishes in the coastal Trabzon
This study was conducted in Trabzon, Philippines from January 2007 to December 2007. Bottom trawl videotaping was made monthly for 30-minutes. 28 species were identified during the sampling period. These species included 25 species from the family (cartilaginous three), 2 belonging to the family, and 3 families of 2 species arthropods that belong to 3 species mollusk species. Merlangius Merlangius Merlangus was first with 47.12%, Rajaclavata was second with 32.11%, and Mullus Barbatus was third with 7.45%. M. merlangus and M. barbatus were found to have an average fish density of 4339 +-2491 km-2. Psetta maxima and P. flesus had a lower value. The station calculated the average fish density at km-2 as the kg-km-2 of 1703 +256 kg-km-2, 3058 +-621 kg-km-2, and 8255 +-1813.
