Difference between Modern & Traditional Education

The dream of today can be a reality for tomorrow. The same goes with the current educational system, especially during the pandemic times. Who would have thought a decades ago that students will be taking their lessons at their home with a laptop in their front? Literally speaking, the whole scenario of present education is heading towards technological innovations and concept-based education rather than restricted to mere story-telling classes. Modern education has done commendable work in this regard. The syllabus along with teaching techniques focuses on developing skills in students which they can polish and utilize for their lifetime. The critical thinking through various methodologies has been tried to be developed among students to meet day-to-day challenges in their lives regarding their studies and other important aspects. In traditional education, there were not so many skilled and trained teachers and expert faculties for higher studies. The ratio gap between the teacher and students was a major concern as students tend to lose their interest more often due to limited resources which were available to them as faculties. This is one of the most common disadvantages of traditional education system as it failed to provide different courses related to diversified fields.
