Manila, Philippines — With Metro Manila now placed under modified enhanced community quarantine and the majority of the other places in the country under general community quarantine or GCQ, the DOT, together with the Inter-Agency Taskforce on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) and several local government units (LGU), are preparing for the revival and re-opening of tourism in the Philippines once our places are classified under the modified GCQ (MGCQ).
