The second Inje Competition of KBA 3x3 Korea Tour 2024 was held on Sunday. Youngsters, composed of female basketball players from Yeonggwang Beopseong High School, participated in the Women\'s Open and faced Seodaemun A, B, red potato, and steamed potato, but all of them lost.
The distance from Yeonggwang, Jeollanam-do to Inje, Gangwon-do is over 400km. Those who came all the way across the mountain and across the water had only one thought in their heads. It was to enjoy 3x3.
Hong Ye-jin, a third grader, said, "I have been participating in the 3x3 competition since last year. 안전놀이터 While looking for the 3x3 competition to gain experience, I saw the announcement that the Korea tour will be held in Inje, Gangwon Province, and I came to participate in the competition with my colleagues and juniors."
There was no choice but to face difficulties in power. He threw himself against the adult sisters to win the ball, but he could not overcome the power difference.
"I\'ve learned a lot, regardless of my win or loss. Especially, Seodaemun-gu Office sisters\' physical struggle and movement are amazing," Hong said. "After participating in about five competitions, I\'ve adapted to 3x3 to some extent. However, because the ball is different from the 5 to 5 ratio, it is still difficult to adjust to the official ball."
When asked if it is hard to travel a long distance, Kim Min-kyung said, "I came to Gangwon Province where the water is good and the air is good, so I can get some fresh air and relieve stress with my colleagues," adding, "Coach (Nam In-young) will probably have a harder time than us. You have to drive a long distance of more than 400 kilometers alone from Yeonggwang to Inje. I thank him."
Beopseong High School players have to go back to their normal lives and concentrate on 5 to 5 basketball, but they will continue to participate in the Korea tour and enjoy 3x3 games. "There is a unique charm of 3x3. If the coach approves, I would like to participate in the next Korea tour with my colleagues," Kim said.
