About the Stainless Steel Strip manufacturing process!
Stainless steel strip is a metal strip, made using Stainless Steel. Stainless steel is an alloy with a minimum 11% Chromium. The Chromium in Stainless Steel provides corrosion-resistance to the strip. The strips are highly ductile with an attractive finish.
These SS Strips are formed of austenitic stainless steel, which is composed primarily of chromium, nickel, and manganese, and has good thermodynamic features such as specific heat capacity, melting temperature, thermal conductivity, and linear expansion coefficient.
Suresh Steel Centre is a premier Stainless Steel Strip manufacturer in India. We manufacture Stainless Steel Strips of unparalleled quality. We are also a Stainless steel strip exporter. We export our products to more than 30 countries.
Now, let me tell you about the manufacturing process of stainless steel strips. Stainless steel strips are made in a multi-step process. The raw materials are first fused together for 8 to 12 hours in an electric furnace until they achieve their recrystallization temperature. The molten steel is then cast into blooms, billets, slabs, rods, and tube rounds, which are semi-finished shapes. The unfinished shapes are then formed into a stainless steel strip using a forming method such as cold rolling.
The cold rolling process is not done at temperatures that are generally considered cold, but at temperatures that are below the recrystallization temperature of the metal. During the cold rolling process, stainless steel strip is pulled between rollers in order to be compressed and squeezed into the desired shape
Not only are we a Stainless steel strips manufacturer in India, we also manufacture stainless steel coils, bands, slitting coils, teeth buckles to name a few.
