A Foodie’s Guide to Exploring Ahmedabad Delicacies

Manek Chowk: A city square surrounded by old landmarks, Manek Chowk has several eateries serving a range of local and international delicacies. Some must-try dishes here include Sev Puri, Methi Na Gota and Chocolate Sandwich. Make sure to visit in the evening to enjoy it at its full capacity.

Das Khaman House: Another important dish of Ahmedabad, Khaman is a healthy and light snack which is readily available at various shops in the city. However, Das Khaman House is the best place to have this dish as they serve the most delicious Khaman with Sev, Green Chilis, and coriander leaves.

Asharfi Kulfi: Kulfi is one of the most loved desserts in Ahmedabad. A visit to the city is incomplete without a run to Asharfi Kulfi which offers a wide array of flavours and a unique taste. 

Amdo’s Kitchen: In case you are looking for some authentic and affordable Tibetan cuisine, you can head to Amdo’s Kitchen which is located on Bhagtacharya Road in Kocharab, Ahmedabad. The eatery has amazing momos, Thupka and fried rice, however, it is only open for six months of the year so make sure to check the status before you head there.
