Groundswell Landscape is a professional landscape design and development firm based in Georgetown, Massachusetts. Every client who comes to us is entitled to a free landscape design consultation with our leading landscape specialists. The consultation allows us to learn about your landscaping goals and objectives. That way, we can create a viable landscape design that closely matches them.
Here is a more comprehensive breakdown of our landscape design consultation process:
1) Set a Budget
The first thing you should consider is your budget for the landscaping project. Setting a budget upfront will help you set realistic project goals and expectations. It will also allow us to create the best landscaping design to accommodate your budget and goals.
2) Write a List of Your Landscaping Goals
Write down all your goals for the landscaping project. The list could have anything appropriate for a beautiful landscape, such as plants, flowers, fire pits, stone walkways, outdoor furniture, and more.
Don’t worry if you add too many things outside your budget because you can adjust the list after we provide our estimated price. Our team will continue to work with you until your budget and goals align as much as possible.
3) Schedule an Appointment for a Free Consultation
Visit the Groundswell Landscape website and click the “Book Free Consultation” button. Enter your contact information and initial message about your landscaping project in the form provided. Click the SEND button to send your consultation request to our staff. We will respond with a date and time for your free consultation appointment.
Alternatively, you can call the phone number on the Contact Us page to schedule an appointment directly. It will also allow you to ask our specialists your initial questions.
4) Initial Discussion
Our landscaping team meets with you for your free consultation. We will want to look at your existing landscaping space and learn about your ideas. What kind of plants and vegetation do you want on the land? What other additions do you want to be added to the land (e.g., waterfalls, flowers, hills)?
The more we learn about your goals and needs for your landscaping project, the more likely we will be able to create a landscaping design you love. Try to be as descriptive and elaborate as possible so that we can get a clear scope of what you want.
5) Initial Design Creation
The initial design phase comes after the initial consultation. It is where we incorporate all the ideas and goals you told us into a design layout. The design will illustrate what the final landscaping will look like after we finish constructing it. Because of this, we will wait for your design approval before beginning the construction process.
If you are unhappy with any part of the design, we will modify our design plans to accommodate the changes you want. Once you finally approve of the design, we will begin developing the landscaping project. Of course, we will continue consulting with you every step of the way to maintain complete transparency on the project.
