Installation of air conditioners – installation process
Standard installation of an air conditioner includes placing an outdoor unit under a window, drilling a through hole with a diameter of 53 mm at a slight slope towards the street, laying a freon route, installing an indoor unit of an air conditioner and filling the system with freon. The total installation time of the air conditioner is from 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and the drilling process and all the noisy work take 15-30 minutes.
We have developed our own set of rules for installing air conditioners – Aircon gold, and they are more stringent than the requirements of split system manufacturers.

1. Choosing a place to install the air conditioner
When choosing a place to install an air conditioner, we follow the recommendations of manufacturers and the requirements of the Management Company, and also take into account the technical capabilities for placing indoor and outdoor units, a drainage system, connecting power and laying a freon route. We also take into account the design and material of the walls and carry out diagnostics for the presence of hidden communications.
2. Hole drilling
When drilling holes, we use the technology of dry diamond drilling in micro-percussive mode with a professional Milwaukee rig, which copes with reinforced concrete, foam concrete, aerated concrete and brick. We use the “clean installation” technology – all dust and dirt is automatically collected from the drilling area by a special system, so the air conditioner can be installed in rooms with a fine finish.
3. Laying a freon route
In the drilled hole, we lay a Freon route connecting the outdoor and indoor units. For thermal insulation we use professional insulating material that protects against condensation. The finished route is insulated with a special tape that protects against UV rays. If the freon route was laid earlier, we check its integrity by pumping nitrogen under pressure into the system. This is better than checking the track at the stage of filling the system with freon, since freon leaked through damage can damage the finish.
4. Installing and charging the air conditioner
To fix the outdoor and indoor units, we use professional Fischer anchors, thanks to which the units are securely fixed to the wall. When the air conditioner is fixed on the wall, we fill the split system with freon. Using special devices, we measure the current strength and air temperature at the outlet of the outdoor unit. This allows you to understand if there are any compressor malfunctions, as well as to make sure that there are no creases and narrowings on the route. After we turn on the split system, we show how to manage and maintain it.
What equipment do we use
We apply the technology of dry diamond drilling in micro-impact mode. Holes are drilled with high-frequency micro-impacts with diamond bits, which makes it possible to drill “dry” not only abrasive materials, but also concrete with reinforcement. With this method of drilling, the possibility of damage to the facade is excluded; a perfectly even cutout is obtained at the inlet and outlet. In addition, we use special dust extractors that ensure clean drilling.

Also, our masters are trained in industrial mountaineering and have permits for high-altitude work.
